Win a fun and informative book by competing in our health tip contest (and read some health tips here for inspiration).
Last week we announced our latest contest at USDAA.com: win an autographed copy of Patti Lawson's book, The Dog Diet, A Memoir, by submitting handler health tips to email@example.com (read the full announcement here).
Remember to enter the contest as many times as you'd like by submitting tips that help handlers be more healthy (the winner will be chosen at random from all entries). Include your street address with your submissions and expect a confirmation of receipt of your entry. If you sent in something and didn't hear back, please send it in again so that we are sure to receive every entry. Don't forget that we may print your entry in a future article on usdaa.com.
Need inspiration? Here are some tips already submitted by our readers:
Hate to run? Feel like you can't run? Try interspersing sprints into your walk. Start with 15 seconds with a rest period in between, and work up from there.
Arrive early and park as far away from agility or obedience class as you can, and walk around the building or site twice before going to class.
Eat organic; not only is it healthy, it is expensive. That means you can't eat as much.
Send in your tips soon! The contest ends at midnight, July 27, 2009, EDT.
