The Bay Team held its spring USDAA trial over this last May Day weekend at the Twin Creeks Sports Complex in Sunnyvale California. Locals here are still recovering from the 4-day Haute TRACS trial (430 dogs) and Power Paws Camp these last two weeks. We didn't know if we were setting ourselves up for a relaxing little hometown show or a behemoth that still carried the momentum of the preceding weeks' monster events. The weekend turned out to be a pleasant moderation: 284 dogs, 2000 runs, three rings. Our judges were popular returnees to our area . . .
