Lifetime Achievement Awards through August 1, 2010

The complete list of Lifetime Achievement Awards since the program's inception in 2002.

Since 2002, approximately 1,000 awards have been issued to competitors recognizing their Lifetime Achievement in USDAA Agility.  These have been previously awarded at USDAA's annual championship event. In recent years, the number of awards has made it increasingly more difficult to do justice to the awards due to the sheer volume.  As a result, in 2011, we will begin a new process for awarding those achieving the requirements for Lifetime Achievement.

The last cutoff for Lifetime Achievement Awards was August 1, 2010.  Later this month, awards will be generated and published through the end of 2010.  Beginning in May, USDAA will begin processing Lifetime Achievement Awards (LAA) on a calendar quarter basis, with the awards published on the 15th day of the second month following each calendar quarter.  For 2011, the schedule is:

Since all plaques are custom-stamped and personalized, competitors should allow 4-6 weeks following the publish date for receipt of their awards.  Any discrepancies or other problems related to Lifetime Achievement Awards should be directed to the USDAA office at (972) 487-2200 Extension #102, or via email at info@usdaa.com.

When viewing the report, it is important to understand that awards are recognized at four metallic levels, designated as Bronze, Silver, Gold & Platinum.  Each level is then recognized in one of three designations, reflecting the program or programs in which the award was earned.  Using Bronze awards as an example, the designations are as follows:

  • Lifetime Achievement Award - Championship Bronze
Required qualifications in core classes (15 each in Standard, Jumpers, Gamblers, Relay & Snooker) were earned solely within USDAA's Championship Program. The remaining 75 qualifications were earned in any of the eligible classes from eligible programs (see USDAA Rules & Regulations - Chapter 1)
  • Lifetime Achievement Award - Performance Bronze
Required qualifications in core classes (15 each in Standard, Jumpers, Gamblers, Relay & Snooker) were earned solely within USDAA's Performance Program. The remaining 75 qualifications were earned in any of the eligible classes from eligible programs (see USDAA Rules & Regulations - Chapter 1)
  • Lifetime Achievement Award - Bronze
Required qualifications in core classes (15 each in Standard, Jumpers, Gamblers, Relay & Snooker) were earned collectively between USDAA's Championship & Performance Programs. The remaining 75 qualifications were earned in any of the eligible classes from eligible programs (see USDAA Rules & Regulations - Chapter 1)

Similarly, at the Silver, Gold & Platinum levels, there are the same three designators for receiving the required qualifications in the core classes, being 25, 35 and 50 in each core class, respectively.
