Clarifications on effective dates inserted for key provisions.
Effective dates have been inserted into the text of the 2011 Rules & Regulations to facilitate implementation. Generally, changes in performance and scoring provisions not implemented before April 1, have a deferred implementation date of June 1, 2011. References have been inserted in-
Chapter 2 - Next day moveups are eligible for events occuring on or after June 1, 2011, and must be provided for in the test schedule (a group option);
Chapter 2 - Mixed height pairs entries in Relay are possible for events occuring on or after June 1, 2011, and must be provided for in the test schedule (a group option);
Chapter 5 - The Starters Refusal (four-paw) safety rule is to be replaced with the new provision in section 5.3 for events on or after June 1, 2011; clarification for application of the new rule has been provided.
Chapter 6 - Mixed height pairs are permitted for events after June 1, 2011, provided the host group has included this option in the Test Schedule.
Chapter 7 and Appendix A - The modifications to the layout of the Long Jump for Performance and Junior Handler Programs is deferred until events occurring on or after June 1, 2011.
