Learn more about international events coming up in 2013!
The IFCS will host three combined World Cup/Continental Championship events in 2013:
· IFCS World Cup & Agility Championships Europe Gerona, Spain - April 4-7 (closing date for entry: February 1).
· IFCS World Cup & Championship of the Americas Ft. Worth, Texas - April 25-28 (closing date for entry: March 15).
· IFCS World Cup & Agility Championships Asia - Japan - December (TBA)
Competitors wishing to enter the European event in Spain (limit of 20 competitors) are eligible based upon achieving finalist positions in Cynosport® 2012, results and standings in the 2012 regional championships, and listing in the 2012 Agility Top Ten. Competitors will be responsible for their own travel and related costs; USDAA will sponsor uniforms, entry fees, and the scheduled competitor dinner for entrants and a team coach. IFCS requires that entries be submitted by its member affiliate, so all entries must be submitted at one time by USDAA. Information on the event can be found at the event web site - http://www.ifcscontinentaleurope2013.com/?lang=en.
Information on the Americas event will be posted on usdaa.com no later than January 10, and is open to everyone without limitation, except in the team triathlon, which has a limit per nation. Closing date will be on or about March 20
Information on the Asian event will be posted later, as soon as data becomes available.
Anyone interested in participating in the Spain event should send a listing of their dog's accomplishments in 2012 USDAA events listed above and indicate standings in the Agility Top Ten, if any, to IFCS@usdaa.com.
