Teri lives in Simi Valley, California and she will be running her three-year-old Border Collie, Motion in the Maxi dog division. Teri's been doing agility for six years, and she's one of those few fortunate people in that her "real life" job has to do with agility: she's an agility instructor at Happy Dog Agility in Moorpark, California. We asked Teri a few questions about her experiences in agility and her plans for the upcoming event.
What are you doing to prepare for the CCOE event?
Reading books to help with the mental game, working on agility drills, and keeping Motion and myself fit by hiking and working on the fit ball.
How did you feel when you found out that you made the team?
Shocked. I had to read the email from Andy a couple of times before it sunk in that we were selected to represent USA.
What strengths do you think you and your dogs bring to the team (particularly on international courses)?
Both Motion and I strive to do our best each time we walk in the ring.
