Details on the selection of the IFCS World Agility Championship team at the CCOA event. Plus, learn who has already earned a spot!
The 2015 Continental Championship of the Americas begins this week! Warm-up classes start Thursday in the form of a USDAA trial, and the main event begins on Friday morning.
The CCOA is part of the 2015 IFCS World Agility Championship US team selection process. Four team member spots (one per jump height) will be awarded to the winners of the highest number of team selection points earned at the CCOA. Eight more team member spots (two per jump height) will be be earned by winners of the combined total of team selection points from the 2014 Cynosport World Game (held in October) and CCOA. In addition, the team coach can add up to four previous handler/dog IFCS medal winners to the team.
These team members will join those who already earned spots on the team based on having the highest number of team selection points from the Cynosport World Games. Congratulations to the first four members of the 2015 USDAA/IFCS World Agility Championships team:
12" - Crackers and Andy Mueller

22" - Spice and Greg Fontaine
26" - Jude and Deanna Fairchild
