2015 IFCS World Agility Championships Sunday Results

The event came to a close on Sunday with the conclusion of the Biathlon and Team Triathlon.


The Biathlon is made up of an Agility course and a Jumping course. Winning means turning in consistent and fast runs on two different kinds of courses. Placing required that dogs did not earn an elimination in either of the classes. 

Sunday began with the Agility Biathlon class. Congratulations to all the winners!

Agility Biathlon
 
Toy Dogs
1. Evgenia Grishina and Belka (Russia)
2. Tatiana Pavlova and Mafia (Russia)
3. Svetlana Tumanova and Topaz (Russia)

Team USA's Courtney Keys and Francine finished in 4th place.

Small Dogs
1. Alberto Marmo and Maya (Italy)
2. Maria Kuleshova and Yuksi (Russia)
3. Yvonne Westen Van and Jive (Netherlands)

Team USA's Giuliana Lund and Zuri came in 11th and Abigail Beasley and Dreamer were right behind in 12th. 

Medium Dogs
1. Elena Krasnopevtseva and Brittny (Russia)
2. Irina Rysenkova and Energy (Russia)
3. Kayl McCann and Grand Slam (Canada)

Stacy Peardot-Goudy was USA's highest scoring Medium dog, coming in 13th.

Large Dogs
1. Lubov' Zvorigina and Brilliant (Russia)
2. Ruggiero Rociola and Albiero (Italy)
3. Andre Landy and Crash (Canada)

Team USA's Jody Lolich and Skillz finished in 5th while Dudley Fontaine and Bird were 9th and Elicia Calhoun and Tobie were 10th. 

After the Agility class was completed, medals were awarded for the Biathlon.

3. Ryan Tracy and Tink (Great Britain)

Small Dogs
1. Alberto Marmo and Maya (Italy)
2. Maria Kuleshova and Yuksi (Russia)
3. Yvonne Westen Van and Jive (Netherlands)

Abigail Beasley and Dreamer were the highest scoring US team member in the small dog class, finishing in 11th place. Giuliana Lund and Zuri were close behind in 13th.

Medium Dogs
1. Elena Krasnopevtseva and Brittny (Russia)
2. Irina Rysenkova and Energy (Russia)
3. Kayl McCann and Grand Slam (Canada)

Stacy Peardot-Goudy and Sobe were the highest scoring US team and took a very respectable 6th place.

Large Dogs
1. Lubov' Zvorigia and Brilliant (Russia)
2. Ruggiero Rociola and Albiero (Italy)
3. Jody Lolich and Skillz (USA)

Team USA's large dogs did well in the Biathlon. In addition to the 3rd place medal earned by Jody Lolich and Skillz, Elicia Calhoun and Tobie were 9th and Dudley Fontaine and Bird were 11th.

The Team Triathlon is made up of Agility, Jumping, and Three-Dog Team Relay. The last course of the event on Sunday was the Relay, in which three dogs competed, relay style, on one course. The Relay is not a titling class since it is part of the Triathlon, but congratulations to the winners.

Three Dog Relay
1. Russia 2
2. Russia 3
3. Russia 1

USA 3 was the top-scoring US team, finishing in 8th in the Relay. USA 1 was 10th, USA 2 was 11th, and USA 4 was 12th. 

Team Triathlon
1. Russia 1
2. USA 2
3. USA 3

USA 2 was made up of Jody Lolich and Skillz, Desiree Snelleman and Pace, Tracy Sklenar and Export, and Marcy Mantell and Stripe. Team USA 3 was Dave Grubel and Boca, Cynthia Horner and Spice, and Abigail Beasley and Dreamer. USA 1 was 16th and USA 4 was 18th out of 32 teams. Way to go, Team USA!
