The Bay Team is ready for 4600 runs and lots of excitement this weekend!
We are on the eve of a three day agility bonanza hosted by the Bay Team of California. It is also the weekend of the final Regional Championship in the US before the USDAA Nationals in November. Over the past few years this trial seemed to be the culmination of the trial season for the West, with the qualification calendar for the next year's nationals starting after its conclusion.
The Bay Team will see 483 entered dogs, 70 championship teams, and 13 performance teams for a total of 4600 runs for the holiday weekend. Four rings will be running, with Team and Masters dogs formatted into three rotation groups. There are 25 vendors booked for the weekend, so the shopping should be fabulous. This is truly a precursor to the USDAA Nationals in size, scope, and excitement.
The schedule of events has the Team event running on Saturday, both opening rounds of the Grand Prix and Steeplechase on Sunday and the final rounds in Steeplechase and Grand Prix on Monday. There is also titling sprinkled throughout the weekend as well. There is something for everyone.
Watch this space for updates all weekend long!
