The right food and treats and help give our dogs the endurance needed for competition.
Whether you're going to a trial this weekend or enjoying the summer with cross-training and conditioning activities like hiking, swimming or walks on the beach; its important to remember when our dogs require some endurance nutrition.
Since dogs burn fat much faster than we do, counting the calories and fat content in their food and snacks takes on a whole new meaning. Replacing our dog's electrolytes is not as critical for them as it is for us, but ensuring you and your dogs both have plenty of water for the weekend's activities will help keep us all in better physical condition for whatever activity we pursue this weekend.
