The new USDAA website Editor and writer.
We are pleased to announce that Mychelle Blake is the new USDAA.com editor and writer! Her duties include providing all the great content you find here on USDAA.com every day. She'll also be sharing our content daily on social media and the Sounding Board, plus various other agility lists from time to time.
She's also happy to work with you directly to create content about your group, an upcoming show, a recap of a recent trial or a special accomplishment or milestone achieved at one of your events. Please contact her at firstname.lastname@example.org with story ideas.
Mychelle has an extensive background in writing, editing and dog behavior. She's a Certified Dog Behavior Consultant through the International Association of Animal Behavior Consultants and currently writes for Pet Health Network. Previously, she was the editor for the Association of Professional Dog Trainers and IAABC member journals.
She has over 13 years of experience working in animal shelters as a staff member and volunteer and is passionate about promoting training and behavioral health for both dogs and cats. Mychelle has a Master's Degree in Social Welfare from UCLA and currently lives in Las Vegas, NV with her husband Jake, and three pit bulls, Odin, Jack and Kaylee.
