Cynosport 2015 Update

A quick progress report on what's going on behind the scenes.

There's been a ton of behind the scenes work going on to create the best Cynosport event ever this year! Just compiling entries was a huge undertaking. Have you checked your confirmation yet???

We're currently working on crating assignments, the event schedule and the walk/run orders. With nearly 1,100 dogs and over 750 humans from nine different countries, there's a tremendous amount of coordinating and scheduling required to accomplish and create a balanced schedule for every competitor.

Please be patient with us. We'll get this very important information out to you in plenty of time to prepare for the event. We want to ensure we don't miss anything before we distribute it to you.

Here's a quick update on a few other important aspects of Cynosport this year:

New Judge
Unfortunately, due to an injury, Jelinda Pepper will not be able to make the trip to Tennessee this year. We wish her a speedy recovery and look forward to having her judge Cynosport next year in Scottsdale instead.

A big thank you to Eric Quirouet for stepping in for Jelinda at the last minute!

Event Alerts
Whether or not you're competing at Cynosport or just watching at home on the live stream, remember to sign up for Event Alerts on Cynosport.com to get the latest information straight to your phone or tablet.

  • If you signed up for Event Alerts for last year's event, you'll need to sign-up again this year since we made modifications to the Alert system.
  • We'll post course maps, real-time results and lots of other great information throughout the event. The alerts will notify you when new information is posted.

Cool New Stuff!
If you haven't been to Cynosport.com lately, there's lots of great information on the Competitor page. This is also where the walk/run orders and crating information will be posted.

New Lure Coursing Vendor & IFCS Fundraiser

  • The American Sighthound Field Association and Devereux Whippets will be providing lure coursing this year starting Friday afternoon through Sunday.
  • Half of all proceeds will benefit the 2016 IFCS Team USA members!
  • Remember to thank them for their generosity when your dog is getting ready to run!
  • The lure course this year will be a more traditional lure event with a bit longer courses without obstacles as in previous years.

Event Flyer
Tell your family and friends about Cynosport! Our Event Flyer has all the basic information to pass along to spread the word about how much fun it is for everyone, whether you're competing or not.
