Making sure your dog gets proper amounts of exercise throughout the week can prevent injuries like ACL tears.
Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL), or Cranial Cruciate Ligament (CCL), tears are one of the most common orthopedic injuries among dogs. There are a variety of causes, including obesity, breed, genetics, and the constant wear and tear that a dog's knees endure throughout their lifetime.
However, another common cause of interest to competitors is "weekend warrior" syndrome. You can help prevent your dog's chance of an ACL injury by making sure you keep a consistent exercise schedule during the week. Read more
