Wasatch Agility holds their first USDAA trial in October.
On October 10 and 11 in Draper, Utah, Wasatch
Agility held its first October trial. That's not unusual: USDAA is
growing and trials are everywhere now. So what was so unique about this
trial? It was held in Coleen Hawker's backyard. In these days
of indoor trials with lots of competitors, it felt a bit like
a time warp going back to the early days of those small fun backyard
trials with good friends. We did titling classes on Saturday and
tournament classes on Sunday. It worked great! Most of the
competitors were local but we even had one from Washington state.
You know Coleen - always helping those
of us in this region that have to travel so far to compete in USDAA. All the locals loved having the opportunity to get qualifiers for 2016
nationals in Scottsdale. Peggy Hammond was our judge and had great
wanted to share how much fun USDAA can be whether it's in a large indoor
facility or just someone's backyard. We are looking forward to doing this
again next year.
