Motto - Puerto Rico lo hace mejor! (Puerto Rico does it better!)
The team from Puerto Rico has been attending the Cynosport World Games for five years, and has 10 dogs competing this year. The team's coach, Rafael Quinones has personally been competing in USDAA for seven years and is a USDAA masters level judge.
The Puerto Rico Agility Team (PRAT), the official USDAA club in Puerto Rico has been in existence for four years and holds four trials a year. They average about 40 dogs at their trials.
The team is looking forward to this competition and has four dogs in the Grand Prix Semifinals. They also fielded two teams, but couldn't quite give it their all yesterday because one of their dogs escaped its kennel and the team spent most of the day searching for her. USDAA leveraged its media ties to provide a missing dog report in local television newscasts and offering a reward for the safe return of the dog. USDAA publicist Annie DeChance received dozens of phone calls throughout the night. Luckily, she was finally located mid-morning the following day four miles away from Westworld in someone's backyard.
