Dog Measurements & Certification
All dogs not jumping 26" in the Championship Program or 22" in the Performance Program must be measured unless they have a permanent USDAA or World Cynosport Dog Registration card or a temporary card with 3 signatures as required by the regulations, making the dog eligible for their jump height (prior to 3 years of age). When not enrolling electronically, please send a copy of one the following items to facilitate the check-in process:
- photocopy of permanent dog registration card,
- printout of the dog-information page from your USDAA® competitor web account, or
- copy of your check-in letter from USDAA indicating your temporary card has been accepted by the USDAA office and your permanent registration card is in process.
Regional - Special Measuring
Competitors whose dog has a temporary height card MUST have the dog measured prior to checking in at any Regional Championship event or Cynosport® World Games in order to confirm that the dog is eligible for the height entered.
If the dog measures up, the competitor must jump the dog at the higher jump height in all classes regardless of the jump height in which the dog earned its qualifications. If the competitor had a bye at the lower height, the bye is forfeited, and the competitor must compete in all rounds that may have been bypassed as a result of the bye.
A Dog that Measures Up at Check-In - May Run FEO
If a judge's measurement of a dog at check-in establishes that the dog is ineligible for the height class in which entered, the competitor may opt to run the dog in the lower jump height class "For Exhibition Only", and no awards or qualifying scores may be earned. The competitor may not change their entry from one program to another (e.g., from Championship to Performance).

Most jobs take only minutes to learn and each day that you volunteer, you will receive a great insider education in how trials work, lunch vouchers, and raffle tickets for our awesome workers-only raffle. We also encourage and welcome anyone that would like to be a FULL-TIME WORKER for a day, or the entire weekend. Full timers receive certificates accepted for Bay Team entry discounts. MANDATORY WORK ASSIGNMENTS UNLESS YOU CHECK THE "PLEASE EXCUSE ME" CHECKBOX By signing the class entry form, the competitor agrees to be assigned to one work shift per day at this trial (one shift being a whole starters/advanced class or a half masters/tournament class), UNLESS the below "please excuse me" checkbox is checked. Walkthrough/running conflicts will be accomodated no matter what happens, rest assured: your dog and your runs have first priority. [__] "Please excuse me." If you check this checkbox then you will be excused from the above mandatory work assignment, since we do understand if you have extenuating circumstances preventing you from being available to work at all.
