This event will be held under USDAA® Official Rules and Regulations, a copy of which may be viewed and printed online at www.usdaa.com.
Policy on Refusal of Entry
The Organizing Committee of an event may refuse the entry of any competitor or dog for just cause should the Committee view that participation by the competitor or dog could be prejudicial to the sport. However, in such case, the Committee must notify the competitor in writing upon receipt of entry, but in no case, more than three days following the event closing date for acceptance of entries. The burden of responsibility for the appropriateness of such action rests solely with the host group and its Organizing Committee.

Returned checks or credit card returns do not constitute a valid entry. Amounts shall be paid within 30 day of postmarked notice of the returned payment if such date follows the event date. Any unpaid fees or shortfalls must be paid prior to the start of the event, or entry is canceled without recourse.

For entries received by the closing date, the level of entry into a given class may be advanced by notifying the Secretary in writing via email by the "Secondary Closing Date". No other changes, cancellations or additions may be made after the initial closing date.
To be accepted, entries must be complete, signed (by parent or legal guardian if handler is a minor), received by the closing date and accompanied by the correct fees and include a valid USDAA registration number on a completed registration form.
Next-Day Move-Ups Allowed At This Event
Competitors earning a qualification during the Event that is needed to complete a title may advance their level THE NEXT DAY at the same event, i.e. move-ups on consecutive days ARE allowed.
Competitors are responsible for keeping accurate records of their qualifying scores and the judges from whom these scores were earned prior to this event to ensure that the dog is eligible to move up based upon scores earned at this Event. Competitors are advised to confirm scores earned with the scorekeeper and judge at the conclusion of a class to ensure the qualifying score has been accurately calculated and awarded in accordance with regulations. If for any reason it is determined that the score or previous scores were inaccurate, making the entry ineligible for the higher level class, any results (including awards) shall be forfeited and the entry will be deemed invalid without refund or other recourse.
Move-up forms supplied by this event must be used to notify the secretary BEFORE she leaves the site the day on which you earn your title.

Veterans Program Classes
Veterans level classes offered at this event are open to a competitor with any dog that is at least eight (8) years of age as of the first day of this event. Previous experience in the sport sufficient to establish proficiency and confidence in performance is strongly encouraged. Once a competitor has earned a qualifying score with a dog in a Veterans class, the dog is no longer eligible to enter that class in the Championship or Performance Programs when a Veterans class is offered. Complete program rules can be found at www.usdaa.com/rulesReg_eBook.cfm which are downloadable from www.usdaa.com/rulesReg.cfm
Team & Versatility Pairs Measure-up Policy - FEO
The handler of a dog entered in Team or Versatility Pairs that is required to jump a higher height by virtue of the judge's measurement must notify the secretary immediately. Should the higher jump height make the dog ineligible for their team (three jump heights), the secretary will make every effort to form complete teams from available dogs. The dog may not be moved to Versatility Pairs.
In the event the competitor is unprepared to run their dog at the higher jump height, they may run in the tournament For Exhibition Only. No member of the Team or Pair may earn a tournament qualification, but Team or Pairs partners are eligible for individual placements, tournament top ten points and Lifetime Achievement Qs in the individual tournament classes.
Mixed-Height Pairs Entry Allowed
Dogs entered as partners in pairs relay at this event may be combined without regard to jump height, i.e. a mini dog may be entered as a partner with an open dog. Any pair consisting of at least one open dog must qualify in accordance with the QCT set forth by the judge of record for Open Pairs AND will be considered an open pair for placement purposes.
Masters Challenge Classes - Championship & Performance
EFFECTIVE FOR SHOWS CLOSING AFTER JANUARY 1, 2013
All dogs - regardless of level of competition - are eligible for entry in the Masters Challenge classes and to earn qualifying scores. These qualifying scores will remain on the dog's record and calculate toward Masters Challenge titles once the dog achieves the Masters Standard / Masters Performance Standard and Masters Jumpers / Masters Performance Jumpers titles.
Additionally, these dogs continue to be eligible for their appropriate level in the regular classes at all levels, unless stipulated otherwise in the Agility Test Schedule. Competitive placements in the Masters Challenge Standard and Jumpers classes accumulate points for annual ranking for Agility Top TenSM and Performance Top TenSM.
Test Class & Tournament Awards
All Agility Test Classes: Separate ribbons for 1st through 4th place will be awarded in each jump height classification respectively (and for mini and open in pairs). Maroon qualifying ribbons will be awarded to all dogs earning a qualifying score. All Tournament Classes: 1st through 4th placement rosettes will be awarded in each tournament class for each jump height. Grand Prix/Performance Grand Prix: Maroon qualifying ribbons wil be awarded to all qualifiers. The first-place qualifier in each jump height shall receive a regional bye voucher. Steeplechase/Performance Speed Jumping: Maroon qualifying ribbons will be awarded to all qualifiers in Round 1. Details regarding prize money offered for Round 2 can be found in the class descriptions at the USDAA website. Team/Versatility Pairs: Maroon qualifying ribbons will be awarded to each member of each qualifying team or pair.

Dog Measurements & Certification
All dogs not jumping 26" in the Championship Program or 22" in the Performance Program must be measured unless they have a permanent USDAA or World Cynosport Dog Registration card or a temporary card with 3 signatures as required by the regulations, making the dog eligible for their jump height (prior to 3 years of age). When not enrolling electronically, please send a copy of one the following items to facilitate the check-in process:
- photocopy of permanent dog registration card,
- printout of the dog-information page from your USDAA® competitor web account, or
- copy of your check-in letter from USDAA indicating your temporary card has been accepted by the USDAA office and your permanent registration card is in process.
Check-In/Start Times
Measuring and check-in will be from 7:00am to 7:45am Saturday and Sunday. All competitors must check in prior to the start of classes on their first day of competition. Judging will begin at 8:00am each day. All times are tentative. Check final confirmation for updates. Times and or class schedules may change due to entry numbers. Express Check-In is available to all competitors that have included a copy of their plastic permanent height card (copies of blue temp cards cannot be accepted), check-in letter from USDAA or a print out of the dog info page from subscriber account indicating that the dog is permanently carded, OR have sent me this information in the past. At Express Check-In you must check yourself in and verify your Registration number. If you missed verifying it in your confirmation, this will be your final opportunity to do so.
A Dog that Measures Up at Check-In - May Run FEO
If a judge's measurement of a dog at check-in establishes that the dog is ineligible for the height class in which entered, the competitor may opt to run the dog in the lower jump height class "For Exhibition Only", and no awards or qualifying scores may be earned. The competitor may not change their entry from one program to another (e.g., from Championship to Performance).

JUNIOR HANDLER REGISTRATION - $25.00
|
|
Dogs must be registered with USDAA in order to compete in USDAA sanctioned events. A registration card
and number with a "U" prefix will be issued to facilitate entry at USDAA events and tracking of show
results in the regular classes.
|
|
Junior handlers (those 18 years of age and younger) and their dogs must be separately registered for
participation in the USDAA's Junior Handler Program (UJHP). A registration number with a "J" prefix
will be assigned for use in entering UJHP events. A dog competing in both programs (regular classes
and UJHP) must be registered separately for each program, for which the total fee is $50.00. Register online at www.usdaa.com and save more than 10%.
