Beginning in 1988, the Grand Prix of Dog Agility has become the longest running and most prestigous
tournament series in North America for the sport of dog agility. The Dog Agility Masters Three-Dog Team
Tournament began in 1991, featuring versatility and endurance through five major classes of competition. Since 1997,
the $10,000 Dog Agility Steeplechase has featured top competitors in jumping competition.
In tournament play, competitors work throughout the year to earn qualifications and placements through
head-to-head competition, as they strive to advance to the next round in one or more tournaments each year.
Tournament champions are the "best of the best" in a given year and set the standards for the following year,
as others study their success in seeking the road to the top. As standards-setters for future competition, tournament
champions have earned their place in the Dog Agility Hall of Fame.
