Handler & dog eligibility, selection rules and special classes announced for IFCS team selection.
Information for the selection of Team USA for participation in the 2012 IFCS World Agility Championships are included in a document that has been posted to the Forms & Documents Library.
New for this year will be the addition of special classes designed to test additional performance elements seen in previous IFCS and other international events. A portion of the entry fees from these classes will be contributed to the U.S. Association of Cynological Sport (USACS), a nonprofit corporation established by USDAA to educate and foster involvement in amateur canine sport, including participation in international events. Funds collected throughout 2011 will be utilized to cover travel and related costs of the team's participation in the IFCS event. Groups other than those hosting the 2011 Selection Trials are encouraged to offer one or more of the special International Handlers Challenge classes as fund raisers to support the team. Contact the USDAA office for details.
