IFCS has released the regulations for its World Agility Championships in Oosterhout.
The regulations for the 2006 IFCS World Agility Championships to be held May 5-7, in Oosterhout, The Netherlands.
A notable addition to the event is that all IFCS members will be permitted to field two three-dog teams in the Team Triathlon. In 2004, only one three-dog team was permitted. The 2006 requirements provide that a second team may be named, with a total of four alternates for the two teams, potentially permitting as many as 10 of the 12 national team members to play a roll in the Triathlon. Click HERE to download and view a copy of the regulations. (Adobe Acrobat Reader is required for viewing.) A final commitment will not be required until late April, but a head count is needed as soon as possible to allow for selection of a facility that may have sufficient space for all those wishing to attend.
A partial panel of judges for the event has also been announced. It includes Steve Drinkwater of Australia, Luis Ciurana of Spain, and Gert Siekmans of The Netherlands.
For those wishing to join the team in Oosterhout, there will be a dinner with limited seating on Thursday night before the event. If you would like to attend this dinner, you should add your name to the seating request list by contacting the USDAA office as soon as possible via email, at firstname.lastname@example.org.
