There were 215 dogs competing in the Team event this weekend.
The Team Relay was pivotal in the final placements; there was quite a bit of movement for the final order. The team to beat was "Hobbes Rips when he's Cruisin'" made up of Rob Michalski and his BC, Hobbes; Sharon Freilich and her BC, Rip; and Naomi Harada and her BC, Cruiser. They were in first place going into the final but had some trouble in the relay and ended up in 14th place.
The winners were draw team of two 16" dogs and one 22", made up of Eejit, a Border-Border handled by Pam Reid; Wryly, a Border Collie handled by Kimberly Chase; and Elvis, a Boston Terrier handled by Eric Herbert. This team was in second place going into the final Relay and held it together to take the win.
The placements were as follows:
1. Eejit-Pam Reid/Wryly-Kimberly Chase/Elvis-Eric Herbert 1201.69
2. Brink-Sandy Rogers/Ace-Nancy Gyes/Spy-Jim Basic 1197.50
