Mary Ellen Barry and her WAC canine teammate, seven-and-a-half-year-old Fizz, live in Norristown, Pennsylvania, where Mary Ellen is a full time agility instructor.

BF: What are you doing now to get ready for the big event?

MEB: Working snooker and gamblers skills, threadles, backsides of jumps, the long jump, weave entries, getting dog and handler fit (lots of hiking for the dog and lots of gym time for the handler)...

BF: Which of your strengths do you think will come in handy in IFCS competition and why?

MEB: Fizz and I have become a very consistent team and I know she can put in the clean rounds needed to do well in a cumulative format.  Also, our prior experience at the 2006 IFCS Championships has helped me know what to expect in terms of the competition.

BF: Tell us something about you that we don't know.

MEB: I used to be CPA and I don't miss it this time of year!
