Plano, Texas — March 1, 2022 — The United States Dog Agility Association, Inc. (USDAA®) kicked off its 2022 Regional Championships qualifying calendar in Tucson, Ariz., in January with nine more qualifiers scheduled across the nation leading toward one goal: the year-end Cynosport® Dog Agility World Games. Thousands of dogs and handlers are competing across North America for a chance to attend this world championship event, which returns to the WestWorld event facility in Scottsdale, Ariz., November 30-December 4.
The full schedule of USDAA regional qualifiers includes:
- Wild West Regional – January 21-23 – Q4U Agility in Tucson, Ariz.
- Sunshine Regional – March 11-13 – Pals & Paws Inc. in Jacksonville, Fla.
- Rocky Mountain Regional – May 6-8 – Front Range Agility Club (FRAC) in Lakewood, Colo.
- Chesapeake Regional – May 20-22 – Hog Dog Productions in Millersville, Md.
- Southeast Regional – June 9-12 – Canine Capers in Perry, Ga.
- New England Regional – July 8-10 – Riverside Canine Center in North Kingstown, R.I.
- South Central Regional – July 21-24 – Dog Gone Fun TX in Magnolia, Texas
- Pacific Northwest Regional – July 22-24 – Red Hot Rovers in Auburn, Wash.
- North Central Regional – August 12-14 – Canine Sports Zone in Middleton, Wis.
- Western Regional – September 3-5 – The Bay Team in Prunedale, Calif.

The Cynosport® Dog Agility World Games features multiple rings of simultaneous competition, bringing the nation’s best agility competitors together for a variety of events including the Grand Prix of Dog Agility® World Championship, $15,000 Dog Agility Steeplechase®, Dog Agility Masters® Two- and Three-Dog Team Championships, and Masters Challenge BiathlonSM. The event rotates each year between Eastern and Western locations and features numerous shopping opportunities and fun, “paws-on” events for pet lovers of all ages.
Canine athletes will be unleashed individually to race over obstacle courses against the clock while being navigated by their human partner, using only voice and hand signals. There is nothing more entertaining than watching talented dogs performing against the clock over hurdles and A-frames, through tunnels, hanging tires, weave poles and even the see-saw. Easy for spectators to understand, the objective is to score the fastest time with the least penalties. Dogs of all breeds and sizes compete in various classes where obstacles are set based on the height of the dog.
