Jean MacKenzie - 1997 - Pioneer of Dog Agility

Jean responded to an open invitation to participate in the first Grand Prix of Dog Agility® in 1988.  

The first competitor to come from New England and a carpenter, she returned home and built her first set of dog agility obstacles and formed the New England Agility Team, the first USDAA® group in that region.

She is one of the first USDAA Board members and a contributor to the creation of USDAA’s core titling program. She was honored as a Pioneer in 1997.
