Julie Daniels - 2007 - Pioneer of Dog Agility

Julie DanielsJulie Daniels, Deerfield, NH, has been training dogs all her life and is that rare top agility competitor who can also teach and inspire at all levels of play. She is an award-winning author who is also a two-time national champion in the U.S. and two-time international gold medalist on Team USA. Julie is a pioneer in the sport of agility and was one of the tireless early agility enthusiasts who helped many clubs throughout the country get up and running.

As the owner of White Mountain Agility (WMA), a 90-acre dog heaven in North Sandwich, New Hampshire, she developed many theme camps and the renowned WMA Instructor Certification Course, which has honed the skills of hundreds of agility teachers and thousands of dogs worldwide.

Julie Daniels with her dogJulie has titled and won with all sorts of dogs through the years, including rottweilers, border collies, corgis, a springer spaniel, and Cairn terrier.  She has won many televised events, including the Purina Incredible Dog Challenge and the ESPN Great Outdoor Games. 
In front of the camera, Julie has provided expert commentary on ESPN, Animal Planet, USA Channel and HDTV network World Sport. She and her border collie, Spring, also made an appearance to promote agility on Good Morning America. 

Julie is the author of several DVDs and agility books, including an update of her award-winning foundation training book, Enjoying Dog Agility.
