Cynosport 2024 Welcomes WCRL Rally Event
Enjoy rally, dock diving and disc dog in Tucson.
The Cynosport® Dog Agility World Games Presented by Purina® Pro Plan® is preparing to head to Tucson, Arizona, where it will bring together hundreds of dogs and dog lovers competing for coveted championship agility titles at the Kino Sports Complex’s North Stadium, November 6-10. New this year will be the addition of a World Cynosport Rally Limited (WCRL) event in conjunction with Cynosport.
In 2003, the first Cynosport Dog Agility World Games brought together agility, flyball, flying disc, canine freestyle and the North American introduction for “Summer Combined Competition.” Twenty-one years later, the 2024 Games continues to host a range of events; in addition to agility and rally, dock diving and disc dog competitions will take place.
Calling All Rally Competitors to Arizona
The WCRL rally event at Cynosport will take place Wednesday and Thursday, November 6 and 7, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., organized by longtime rally judge Dawn Antoniak-Mitchell and CynoLogic Dog Sports (San Tan Valley, Arizona). Entry forms will be available in early August on the WCRL website.

Dock Diving
North America Diving Dogs (NADD) Mountain West Mobile Dock will be available for everyone to try Friday through Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Dock operators Jody and Tracey Hudson of Grand Junction, Colorado, were first introduced to the sport on ESPN in the early 2000s, but with Jody’s career as a first responder and three kids in their own sports and activities, they had no time to get involved. In 2016, they finally attended their first event in Denver; since then, they have had six diving Chesapeake Bay Retrievers, including the 2023 Veteran AR National Champion. Jody and Tracey became mobile dock operators after Jody retired in May 2023.

Disc Dog
Disc dog is an exciting, fast-paced sport that takes the basic game of fetch with a flying disc and expands it into many fun games. The disc event takes place Friday through Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in partnership with Anthem Disc Dogs Club of Anthem, Arizona. Anthem Disc Dogs is a member of the K9 Frisbee Toss & Fetch League, which offers several five-week-long competition seasons throughout the year.
