Lisa and Lucy Kirschner earning their rally BN title 500USDAA would like to welcome Sit, Stay, ’n Play as a new WCRL Rally Club!

Located in Stroudsburg, Penn., Sit, Stay, ’n Play is a dog training and social center that lets your dog meet other dogs and people while providing both mental and physical stimulation. The 2,300-square-foot facility features a climate-controlled indoor arena with recycled tire flooring, gym with equipment to accommodate 15 dogs, and viewing area for everyone to enjoy their visit. With training services and events for obedience, agility, rally, Rodeo Dog, nosework and canine conditioning, Sit, Stay, ’n Play offers a range of classes for all ages and levels year-round.

“We decided to become a club after a few of our guests expressed interest in trials at our location,” said Lisa Kirschner, president of Sit, Stay, ’n Play. “We’ve offered rally classes for years, but until recently have not had anyone serious about trials. We are lucky to have someone that we have a wonderful relationship with as our judge, and she’s agreed to help us with our trials moving forward.”

Sit, Stay, ’n Play was inspired by Lisa’s dog, Lucy, with whom Lisa played several sports: rally, obedience, nose work, agility and Rodeo Dog. Although Lucy passed away at age 13 on February 27 this year, Lisa acknowledges her role in helping to drive the club to joining WCRL. “She’s leaving us with a wonderful legacy, being able to serve our community with a positive reinforcement-based dog training center.”
