BrilliantK9 Supports Team USA With Harnesses
Harnesses are designed to promote dogs' health and safety.
USDAA and Team USA would like to thank Teri Jaymes and her fellow dog enthusiasts at BrilliantK9 in Lucas, Ohio, for providing high-quality, ergonomic harnesses for all Team USA members competing in the IFCS World Agility Championship! BrilliantK9 has supported our international athletes for more than five years.
“I believe all dogs need well-fitting equipment that works with their body and allows them to balance properly while walking around or to the ring,” said Teri, co-owner of BrilliantK9. “I also believe our athletes should have a stunning uniform to represent the USA on the world stage. The team picked out the print, and I designed and handcrafted their harnesses.”
As lifelong dog enthusiasts who have owned and trained rescue dogs of all shapes and sizes, the BrilliantK9 team found a need for an effective, better-designed harness that promotes a dog’s health and safety. They consulted veterinarians, veterinary chiropractors, canine massage therapists, rehabilitation specialists and professional dog trainers to create their ergonomic design, which allows dogs to run, sit, swim, play and compete without restraining their natural movement or encouraging pulling. The harnesses also have safety features such as reflective trim, a quick grab handle and the ability to attach a seat belt adaptor for safer car transportation.
“USDAA is the only IFCS team I make these harnesses for,” Teri said. “The team members are so wonderful, and they often send notes of appreciation or stop by and say thanks at agility trials. I’m honored to be able to support the highest-level athletes in the sport I love.”
