Wellness Wednesday: At-Home Assessment - Forelimb
Become more aware of your dog’s body and movements.
Staying home with your dog is today’s new normal. Dr. Sherman Canapp and Dr. Debra Canapp of the Veterinary Orthopedic and Sports Medicine Group (VOSM) are here to help you learn how to do an at-home assessment on your performance dog. This is the first in a series of three videos on at-home assessment; future videos will focus on at-home assessment of hind limbs and spine.
VOSM, located in Maryland, offers orthopedic surgery, neurology, sports medicine and rehabilitation. VOSM’s team of doctors is known for their work with canine athletes, working dogs and companion animals. For an introduction to VOSM, watch their YouTube video here.
Note: This is not a replacement for a visit to your vet. It is a way to help you become more aware of your dog’s body and movements in order to help monitor your dog's health and prevent injuries.
